Senator Malcolm A. Smith currently serves as President of the New York State Senate, a role to which he was elected by his fellow Senators in January of 2009. Mike Spano was first elected to the State Assembly in 1992 as its youngest member. He serves as vice-chair of the Legislative Commission on Toxic Substances and Hazardous Waste. Previously he was vice-chair of the Assembly’s Steering Committee and chair of the S.A.V.E. Task Force.

Michael Liang joined AABDC in 1997, he has arranged meetings and receptions of various trade delegations involving Chinese government officials as well as local and business leaders. He’s also responsible for organizing many of AABDC’s trade missions to China, and introducing American businesses to the Chinese market.
